[denied] Archive SytheLib section

Plain and Simple, SytheLib is dead.

The last time the Sythelib plugin source code was updated as 13/03/2021 (when I last provided a working version to @Dev Zach).

Due to the amount of client changes since then (with the most recent one being the inventory re-work) the Sythelib plugin that was required for certain update aspects is now dead.

Between the fact most people with the Sythe Dev rank are inactive, leeched the rank, or are banned, I don't believe sythelib will be used again.

Due to this, the Sythelib section is a dead section which serves no purpose.

whilst we can "minimise" the section, I feel archiving it is the better solution until such time someone decides to revive it under a different name.

 

Always asked myself what the fuck it even is so support

 

It was DOA, with 0 potential.

 

I recently made a thread for a similar suggestion, and it was denied, so for that reason, I believe this one will be denied as well.

closing in on a year since the last post, +1 support, alot of sections need to be cleaned up.

 

Much work was put into making Sythlib, and it is unique to these forums. I think it could stay on the forums, but not as its own sub-forum.
Were you thinking of getting rid of it completely?

 

As kyle said, it could be archived, alot of work may have went into it, but if its dead content, that isn't even being used it doesn't need to be on the front page.

 

Sythe lib is dead.

the plugin used for it doesn't work (it was last updated last year) and will need a huge chunk of it rewritten for the inventory rework, the api changes etc.

without the plugin, sythelib doesn't function, aka its dead.

all its doing it sitting there, gathering dust, not even looking pretty.

was a dead concept, made by a braindead @Dev Zach from the start

 

I'd support as well, don't really see it offering much as-is
