[Denied] Allow commission staking on sythe

I think commission staking is good for those users who don’t know how to stake for themselves and want to have a go with an actual good/decent staker.

Biggest concern with this though is that a staker could just duel his alt all the time and purposely throw the big duels. So basically he received a vouch for the service and some GP. Rinse and repeat and we have ourself a very “trustworthy” staker.

Commission staking is definitely a huge risk and I think it would honestly cause more harm than good.

Afaik comission staking was allowed here back in the day and there was huge amount of scams because of it, no support.

 

No support imo, easily can scam customers via prayer or other rules. Even screen sharing could be faked due to custom plugins etc and overlays.

 

I'll leave this open to see if anyone has novel thoughts, but yeah... / thread tbh

 

I don't support this. I see a lot of vindictive people reporting accounts and doing slimy stuff to gain advantages in the market. No thanks.

 

Thats like saying lets remove all gambling clans who advertise on sythe cus they could on purpose rig their bots like what ? [not to mention all gambling clans who alredy do advertise on sythe alredy offer commision staking ]

Just for example user Soul rich aka owner of king of stakes [clan based on commision staking since 2014]


So if clans are allowed to offer commision staking and no action has been taken on them then allow everyone to do it.

Either get rid of anything gambling related on sythe or allow it. Using as excuse there is alot of ways to scam is honestly dumb. There is alot of ways to scam in Account market[pre sure more than 50% of accounts gets recovered | on rs3 market 95% of max comp cape accs get recovered] / gold market too but its still there.

 

Why permit something else that’s easy to take advantage of? Giving scammers another way to scam. Sure some clans offer it already but it’s not on Sythe. It’s on their own discord servers and people take those risks.

 

This. But also no because it's been denied three times and OP provided no critical thought/logic/reasoning into why those declinations should be overturned.

 

Maybe because people make mistakes and learn from them. I’m not the same person I was 6 years ago and neither are you.

That being said, why are you against what I’m saying? I’m just trying to help and give my point of view. I’m someone who’s scammed before so I know how a scammer thinks. Commission staking can easily be taken advantage of. There are so many more cons than pros. You could literally pay someone to stake for you and they could just scam you and you would have no proof at all. They could flick the wrong style and say that’s part of their strategy or hit a tick too late and blame on PID and boom.. they have all of your gold just like that.

At the end of the day.. I’m only one person. If more people support this then so be it. My life will go on. This is only my opinion. I’m just trying to help.

the equivelence of what you're saying is saying, lets forbid all payment methods since crypto can theorethically be 51% attacked, paypal chargedback, cash in mail forged, credit card frauded etc.

Also lets remove account sales since they can be recovered, as-well as gold sales since the gold seller can lie about delivery or whatever
