Fix Feedback Subforum

After reading and re-reading through the feedback subforum, I think it needs an overhaul. Any thread where someone expresses their true feelings it was locked, and the only threads that are open are BS ones that no one cares about. I suggest that we either bring Feedback to the Spam section, or allow people to talk about the site with how they truly feel.

It is Feedback for a reason. You do not see restaurants or businesses deleting negative feedback because they did not like what they said

 

I remember once any feedback was welcomed, sad to see this is now changing.

I will say that there is a lot more "joking / troll" content that seems to be allowed in there these days compared to years ago. If the feedback fourm is now an official spam / trash post place to make jokes then the post count should be removed for that section (same as the spam forum).

lol you'd be surprised how many businesses / restaurants would do this if they could get away with it, although at the same time "review bombing" is a thing also so it goes both ways.

 

I think we should archive all the old feedback threads, make a habit of not closing threads that are actual discussions (diatribes can still be closed imo), and maybe combine community input with feedback since they're basically the same concept but community input is dead af
