[denied] Add "bulk" section in RS Markets

Keep the forums as is, however like there's a 'misc', 'gold', 'items' sub-forum with inside of it a 'rs3' and 'osrs' sub-forum.
Create a 'accounts' forum alongside the 'misc', 'gold', 'items' forums and inside of the 'accounts' forum, have a 'bulk' and 'shop' sub-forum, from then onwards it's the same; it uses the current 'osrs' and 'rs3' sub-forum afterwards.

This allows for sales to be sold in bulk or as one account ('shop').
The main advantages of this:
-remove bulk buyers sifting through threads/contacting seller if sell in bulk or not.
-sellers offer bigger discounts easier and sell more/ quick fire-sale.

You may say, just create a shop, however they offer many different goods (different account builds).
Creating the 'bulk' sub-forum is focusing on bulk sales of the same account build e.g. 'nmz 70/70/70 account'.

If you have bulk of different builds of accounts, then you create a shop inside the 'shop' sub-forum.

This is a very confusing suggestion based on your wording. I could be misunderstanding, but you're saying "OSRS Accounts" and "RS3 Accounts" sub-sections don't exist, yet they do.

Bulk accounts would be sold here: OSRS Misc Accounts

Seems highly unnecessary, and quite frankly, sounds like it would cause more cluster than add value.

The misc. sub-forum is for:
"For all accounts that don't quite fit into the other sections - Tutorial accounts, specific low level builds, botting accounts".
That in itself could also do with a 'bulk' sub-forum inside it.

The only real addition is adding the option to browse in bulk or for one account.

 

I just don't see how this would bring value to the forums. I think it's unnecessary and would create more clutter for a class of accounts (bulk) that don't make up a large portion of transactions on Sythe.

If someone wants to list bulk accounts, they can do it in the respective sections that already exist. I haven't had any issue locating sellers.

It's not just relevant to accounts.

You can sell bulk in 'items', 'accounts', 'services'.

The pro's of this suggestion are for both buyer and seller POV.

It removes the need for buyers to inquire with sellers, adding discords etc.

The seller has a price for bulk and singular on each respective forum.

It makes it easier for buyers to purchase bulk and another avenue for sellers to offload a lot of 'assets' at a cheaper/ fire-sale rate.

I did a quick scan of OSRS/RS3 item sale subsections and less than 5% of threads are "bulk" buy or sale threads.

If items are available in bulk, that negates the possibility of them being rares / high value items. Who buys non-rares on Sythe? The answer -> hardly anyone. I'd even venture to say no one, as all the threads I looked at had zero traction.

What does "bulk services" mean? Almost all AIO service providers already advertise and offer "bulk services." That's quite literally part of the definition of AIO.

 

To be honest with you, I started writing the suggestion focusing on 'accounts' and rushed trying to add 'services' and 'items' to the suggestion.

I have been editing the original suggestion with your advice.

I believe the 'accounts' section could benefit from it greatly.

The percentage of bulk against individual sales in accounts would be much larger.

 

Tutorial island and zulrah accounts are about the only "bulk" accounts that buy/sell here. The market for those are slim. I don't see the need to create separate subsections outside of the misc account sales sections that already exist.

 

From a sellers POV, I have around twelve 99 magic accounts for sale. Purely 99 magic.

I only really sell them individually for X amount.

I would like somewhere where I can advertise them at a ridiculously cheaper amount in bulk, just to offload them to someone who perhaps didn't know they could do with them at such a cheap price.

I see your reasoning now. I didn't know the bulk of sales was so small in regards to the type of accounts that often sell in bulk.

 

I like your thinking behind this suggestion, instead of a bulk buyer searching through the forums for sellers, there would be a subforum. It is convenient and easy for that person. However, I think it is too niche of an idea. As people before me said, people usually only buy NMZ/tut/zulrah accounts in bulk, and that is well advertised on a seller's thread. Not many people are looking for bulk 99 magic accounts, so the person would still have to search through the NMZ/tut/zulrah threads to get the one they want. For that reasoning, no support.
