Deliantra (Possibly the next biggest MMORPG)

The other day I was on the like 50th page of google and found this mmorpg called DELIANTRA

It has graphics like rsc lmao, but it has so many things like runescape or some mmo you play. I'm not trying to advertise this and be an annoying thread maker, but this game has SOOO much potential.

You can raise combat, mage, you pray at alters to raise your grace with the gods. You go to the "battle tower" to fight off npcs to gain experience. There is a duel Colosseum, and of course chat and online players. It seriously is so sick, and its a downloadable client. Here's some screenies, check them out, and try it out. We can make this game big, and you guys can be the first to play it with like 3 ppl on all the time. You can get rare names, learn before everyone else, and start a new mmorpg community!

Dude play it for what it's worth. Yeah the graphics are bad, but it is so complex everything is well thought out down to literacy, commands, irc, everything is far more complex then runescape. You need to open up.

 

We're in 2012. This has no potential imo.

 

I liked Minecraft because it was a good game, and it was meant to look all simplistic.
This, on the other hand, may be good to play, but the graphics are an attempt at being something they're not.

If people would actually play it you can make suggestions to the game maker because he answers right away. Remember when RSC switched to Runescape 2 and everyone started to play. If people start to play things will eventually evolve like they do now. Its a chill environment with a small community. Can't you see that this could potentially become a real trade market. Look at the dollar signs that you could be missing out. currency in this game goes Silver, gold, platinum, royalty. those could possibly be worth it in the future.

 

played it and did not enjoy it Anarchy Online is a good alternative imo but that was years ago

 

I mean on paper it is looking great but I'm not feeling the graphics like everyone says it looks like tibia.. Rs had to adjust as should new projects IMO that is.

 

Looks like people who've played don't like it much. I've done some research and I've to tell you it's not really attractive to start playing.

The learning curve is so steep it's almost impossible to pickup the game and get started.

Due to it's simple graphics it will get boring after many game hours. This is because the text won't keep you entertained enough to keep on playing.

Therefore I must agree to the must people on this thread.

I'm starting to think that this thread wold fall under advertising...

 

I mean, if you think it has so much potential, I went ahead and registered a bunch of rare name accounts.
The gameplay is horrible though, so I'm not actually playing.

 

Necrobump, but I just had to mention the "next big" game was 20 years old when this thread was made.
Deliantra was originally a Crossfire server which split off into an own client some years back.

So yeah, do your research...

It has few players because it's old not because it's new.

I played this before it split nearly 10 years ago anyways and it's actually a lot of fun to discover the big game world especially if you can get someone to play with.

It was originally a Gauntlet clone though so the pretty dated gameplay isn't for everyone.

Though, I only play RSC for the nostalgia every now and then, can't see it getting big.
