This guide is for windows.

This guide will show you how to free up hard drive space by deleting your temp f
files which are useless and never to be used again.

First off, go to start ->> run *or windowskey + r* ->> in the box type in "%temp%" without the quotes, and press ok.

A folder will pop up with a bunch of files, simply hit "CTRL + A", and it will select all the files, press "delete" on your keyboard or right click + choose delete, a window will pop-up prompting if you want to delete all the files, choose "YES"

FIANLLY, go to your desktop, right click the Recycle bin ->> choose "Empty recycle bin"

If i delete them, will i lose saved passwords, saved files, etc.

It's just cache'd images/files so when you have to use them again, they will load faster.

Like I said to Viper, you could just go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup. It deletes Temp Files plus more. It has check boxes so you can choose what you want to delete.
