Definition of Maxed

I feel as if this term "Maxed" is used SOOO loosely inside of Sythe forums. Maybe I am confused as to what "Maxed" really is.

Now I fully understand that that Maxed can mean different things, Ie: 70 pray, 60 attack maxed acc. In that regards its specified that, that account is meant to stay at those levels and all other cb stats are 99.
However; I would say 99% of the "Maxed" accounts I see on here are like 94 str, 90 att, 91 range, 94 mage. Etc.
In what world are those "Maxed" lol?

I mean yeah, I guess that could be your definition of maxed. But to me, Maxed means 99 in ALL applicable stats. If its maxed zerk, its got 99 in all stats (including prayer) and 45 def. Etc.

Am I the only one that finds this silly? Maybe I am just super OCD lol...

"Maxed overal" = maxed everything
"Maxed zerker" = 99 str mage range, with w/e att level you prefer
"Maxed pure" = 99 str mage range, with w/e att level you prefer

Coming from someone who isn't a rs trader, maxxed to me would mean all skills are maxxed. Common sense for me with lets say a maxxed zerker would mean including zerker in the phrase. As I said I'm not a rs trader and will no doubt be completely off the ball, just my 2 cents.

The definition of maxed varies for different people. As c0ngs said, there's different builds for different people. After achieving the maximum possible level for that build they will consider their accounts maxed.

 

I've always thought of "maxed" as referring to having the highest possible total level for your particular account build, and have used "maxed melee" to instead refer to just 99 atk/str/def. The former is so uncommon though that "maxed" now most likely means maxed melee stats. The people claiming "maxed" without actually having the 99s are just trying to boost traffic to their threads.

 

Yeah I thought maxed means 99 in all stats aswell. Weird to see there are other meanings.

 

When someone says they are selling or buying a maxed main they mean an accout with 99 att/def/str/hp

 

I see that so much, people have however recently started to use the term 'almost maxed' in they're selling posts alot more.

It's like an OCD thing - annoying to look at haha.

 

Maxed: Maxed combat
Maxed total: All 99s.

Maxed just generally refers to the highest possible stats that the account type would have.

So maxed staker would obviously mean 99 melee stats with 99 hp. The ranged and magic levels are side details that can be added bonuses.

 

I'm glad that all of you are on the same page with me on what Maxed means. Most the posts I see on Sythe, DEFINITELY are not maxed acc posts.

 

When I use the term Maxed, I'm referring to it's melee stats for it's build. So this may mean:

Maxed zerker 60/75 attack 99 str 45 def.
Maxed barrows pure 70/75 attack 99 str 70 def.
Maxed main 99 attack 99 str 99 def 99 hp

As for range/mage levels, they don't affect combat at the stats above so I don't include them. As for HP it's just a pain in the ass to get 99 hp unless it's a main where you can just train atk/str/def for 99 hp.

 

I can understand where you are coming from, that does make sense.
I suppose to me, Maxed is a term meaning it can go higher.
Therefore I would assume if its a "Maxed Zerker" All combat stats would be maxed, which I would feel like this would include range and mage because they are a combat skill.

Having a maxed account means that all of the skills, combat and non-combat, should be 99. Unless it's referring to a specific account build, such as having a "maxed pure" with stats like 99/99/1/99/99/99 (which of course is also controversial given that the other stats are not maxed), otherwise, it shouldn't be referred to being a maxed account at all.

 

I'd consider max to be just max melee stats.
