I have another question. If you make your def pking account a staker such as the one in imnotcrazy's sig? Like could you stake with it and pk?

only if you want. if you want to make it into a very good members staker, you do not need to do dragon slayer, because you need to go straight to 70 def and barrows doesn't take requirements.

not true. dragon slayer gets you strength and attack experience also, so if you were 40 33 40, it would get your attack too high, and most likely get your strength level over 40... which wouldn't necessarily ruin the staker, but strength level should Definitely not be over 40 strength.


OR correct me if im wrong, 33 wont get him above 40?

Oh sorry about the double post and I thought that pic was of a different pure you had, lol. Oh well, my friend and I are making those and one more question. Are the stakers stats good to pk with in f2p?

 

no such thing as a defence pure.. there is a def pker but not a defence pure lol.. seems like everyone slaps the name pure at the end of anything.. barrows pure. rune pure. tanker pure...

 

the kid, what do you call someone around 38 combat with a 99 def cape? is he not a pure defence? does he not train just 1 skill? is he not justa pure? whats he pure in? def? make him a defense pure? also what do you call a person with 40 attack 40 str and 70 def? a barrows pure? doesnt make it look really correct calling it a barrows pure now does it?

yeah or maybe it could be called a random person with 99 defence at 38 combat. thats totally not pure...

also caveman the fact is that rune chain is 3 less defense bonus then a rune plate, if you wanna spend all that time doing the quests, you can but i dont see it as much better

Ya I just got my def up on goblins then at about 20 I went to monks. I was actually training my def pure scanning these forums then I came across this post lol.

 

no. if you actually took the time to read my guide, you would find out that it is VERY good to pk with 40 str 40 att and 40+ defence. its also fun. i actually pked a few people because they were honorable and didn't run out like a noob.

This is awesome, I currently have an account at 30 defence. Should I go straight to zombies or stay at monks till 35 then go for zombies?

EDIT: Before I left my account over night at 20 defence, next day I woke found out I got 32 defence with 562 boxes...

 

lol nice, depends on your attack and str, if there over like lvl 1 go to zombies, because you'll just kill monks really fast and you cant afk really on it

 

I really love this guide, it helps when making a def staker to have something that helps guide you along the way. Question: How often do you lose in staking?
IE >> Boxing, >> DDs/Whip fites? Perhaps a ratio would best answer me like wins/loses/total fights. Just wondering.

Edit: Forgot rating, 110%/100% My def staker is currently 20att 21str 20def 22hp. Been training him with iron schimy until 30 att since I happen to have an addy schimy. Doesnt hurt at all considering they hardly hurt you. I love the fact that the monks heal thus giving more experiance.

 

boxing a usually win against ppl with the same amount of lvl's, boxing is basically who ever has more total lvl's wins so just look the ppl up

dds/whip fight i own everyone usually around my combat lvl, i kills most ppl up to lvl 85 and win, as long as armor is on

i love fighting tank rangers, thats where i make a ton of money, ive killed a tanker with 70 def and around 80 range usuing a crystal bow, also most tanks have 40-50 def and around 85 range, you can kill most of those also

 

Hmm, my friend doesn't believe me when I tell him this. -_-. Oh well Thank you I will continue to make it and would you suggest doing the dragon slayer for rune pl8?

My opinion is to get flat 40 melees first, then raise def and attack after that. Faster, and also you could have 40 attack 40 str and 20 def for a while which is always fun for low lvl pking.
