[DEBIED] Multiple issues that need attention

recently took a break from sythe come back to see the bump timer removed so I just thought it was removed and you could bump freely well I was blocked for a whole week for bumping 2-3 hours never sooner it’s my fault for not reading the rules every time I get on sythe so may I suggest adding in the rules here about bump timers [Section Rules] Old School RuneScape Accounts
I honestly never even knew there was a whole seperate rule section. I just read the rules that pertain to each section. I was asking the mod who gave me the infraction questions about it and was hit with “well if you would read “ and “incompetence at its finest “ that’s no way to talk to someone expessially with being staff , I’ve sold 15 accounts in the last month was about to become a 50 dollar donator tommorow (payday) to expand into services ect , but now I will not. Sythe is dwindling down and i believe it’s actions like this and being treated poorly by staff that causes people who have good intentions on sythe to leave ...

Also I believe that a whole week for a first time offence for simply being unaware do to thread management is asinine I think a 24-72 hour lock for first time offenders should be much more suitable and a week for repeat offenders.

 

I agree it's confusing and it shouldn't let you bump it unless your time is up. It's easy to mess up for new user, but first time should be a warning (if it isn't already)

 

Attitude is everything I agree. Being on the other side as well, i do recognize it is tough when you’re dealing with the volume they deal with. Well-intentioned moderating at the beginning always deteriorates with every staff member quickly over time.

 

Seems like some of this thread should be in feedback for the mod that infracted you?

Agreed on the points you make though. The rules have always been too complicated, and normally the first infraction is just a warning and not a ban of any kind. Sadly nothing has been done about the rules in literally years as there are no incentives for anyone to do it...

 

In the spirit of Christmas I have unlocked your thread. Unfortunately we can't change the bump prevention timer because we do allow 2-hour bumps in the case of vouch bumps (mostly applies to gold sections), you are certainly not the first user who has had this issue though
