Well, last week our teacher was out, and we had no sub, so the teacher
from the other classroom had to keep watch on us. Yesterday we also
had a test in said class, and occasionally the teacher would check on
us if we were cheating.
So, my friend and I both finished the test first and go to our next
class. Turns out, one kid was caught cheating while we were gone and
said "Why should i get in trouble if everyone else cheated" and as a
fact, i'm sure none if not only 4(?) students, who should not even be
in the honors track, cheated. Since our dean of students is quite lazy
and did not want to find who cheated he told our math teacher to give
us all F's on that test even to those who legitimately took the test
and earned out grades. Also he stated that we might not be considered
as a "honors" track/class due to this.
Best part here, i would of gotten a 100% + extra credit when the
teacher actually graded it, it was the highest in the class. How can I
be accused of cheating when i have the highest test score?I took the
test and passed, therefore I should pass; it seems obvious. I would
argue this to Court.
Heres what to debate on, is this allowed if not, should it be?
Also if you want, include what you would do in this situation.
P.S. If this is the wrong forum, or if this is supposed to be in personal support please move it, but i see it as quite a good debate topic.
