Dealing with Jagex

I've read various things about the Appeal for Macro's being automated and etc, but i'm trying to deal with them properly, i had to recently send in an appeal to get my account back as it was hacked, and it was banned for macroing when i got it back

I sent them an appeal to the offence saying this;

"Dear Jagex,

I recently returned to this account to see my password which was set on the account was not working, so i sent in a stolen password query, when this came back that my appeal had been accepted to get my account back, i tried to log in with great joy to find that my account had been disabled. I thought to myself that this isn't right, as I've never used macroing software in my life.

As said, My account was compromised and someone else had committed these offenses on my account, and it wasn't me. If this mistake can be fixed, it would be greatly appreciated.

If this doesnt work, i'm going to take serious action, and probably get my mum to email their parents email

yeah that happened to me before sort of.. I got my acc hacked and got it back muted.. the appeal got denied and i couldn't talk for a couple days

Yeah, was just wondering if anyone had stories they could share about appealing and it actually being accepted :\

 

Well you don't get banned for macroing for a few hours, or even a whole day, so I'm finding it hard to believe you were 'hacked' and a 'hacker' did it, unless you went on vacation for 17 days and he suicide botted it the whole time. Oh and, your mom emailing them will not get you unbanned, I promised. If you were really hacked, they will check the IP and it'll be an accept appeal.

 

My appeal is still pending, sent it in roughly 4 hours ago.

 

I doubt Jagex have the time to check I.P. addresses on every un-authorized access of an account. Good luck, if it gets unbanned post here.

This is exactly what it is that some people don't grasp at times. They CAN but WILL NOT notice every change from login point UNTIL you flag it by REPORTING IT STOLEN. So up until that point, you can get in trouble from all the offenses in the world from a different IP, until you let them know.

 

I have tried e-mailing them before pretending to be a parent so good luck.

 

I don't think this will work, And back in 05 I was banned for macroing, sent in an appeal like this from a separate computer. It worked I was unbanned but then banned for Account Sharing(OR w/e they call it).

Jagex's system is so messed up, and I doubt you will be unbanned, I think they just ban anyone with a macroing offence.

 

wont work, they can check if a different ip was on your account. but if yours is the only one then you're boned
