Gilded Altar

Just wandering if there's an easy way to locate a gilded altar?

 

This is for deadman mode Honestly I wouldn't go to a random's house to use their altar just because of how risky it is. If you don't have a close friend or someone you trust that has a gilded altar you might be better off just using the ectofuntus.

 

Oh woops. Just realized Deadman section was under 2007 general. Then yeah, I wouldn't use anyone's altar that you don't know really well. He gets similar exp in ecto, just slower.

Can you be attacked in someone elses house? cause this would legitimately be the easiest lure in the world - though I'm with you on this one, I could really use someone elses guilded alter, prayer is slow AF even with 5x XP

 

Yeah houses are dangerous zones, but you're able to lock your house by setting private to off so you can theoretically have someone lock their house, let you in, then lock it again. Just comes down to having someone trustworthy do it. I actually saw someone advertising their altar on reddit a few days ago (and I also remember b0aty using this person's house on stream), so you could potentially look into that. If not, ectofuntus is not a bad alternative, especially with ectophial. Bonemeal is also untradeable so you can also "save" prayer exp instead of having bones lost on death.

 

You might want to take a look in "07 Altar" clanchat. The owner, Altar, has been the leader of the housing community for the past 3-4 years. They'd be up to date on all of that information, so I'd give that chat a look

 

That's only for RS07, not Deadman, AFAIK.

 

It is, but they'd be able to lead you to a chat for deadman, if there is one, or explain the process of going about training prayer on deadman. Likewise, "Altar", the main chat for RS3, can assist with darkscape training.
