Additional Response to Dispute

Okay, so I went to browse sythe from my phone about an hour ago only to find that I was logged out which I thought was weird. So I tried to log back in only to be given an invalid password message. So I reset my password and upon doing so received this message:
"You have been banned for the following reason:
Hacked and scamming - http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer/1915997-igotowned480-scammer.html"

Lets backtrack. A week or two ago I noticed that someone had a made a post from my sythe account that wasn't my doing. I PMed Dave on the forums and proceeded to, "secure" my account after talking to him on skype. Well, I saw the recent news post made about changing your passwords due to a forum password breach or something, so I changed my password (yesterday) immediately when I saw it. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the password I changed it to was the one that was compromised from before I spoke with Dave (i just removed the numbers from my password. Stupid, I know. I guess I forget how ruthless some people are).
That's where I stand currently. I'm posting from my phone because I'm at my girlfriends house (who has no clue I play RS) and won't have access to my laptop again until Thursday. I didn't want to wait to post this though because it's driving me nuts.

I looked at the report the guy made; the skype the hacker used isn't mine, neither is the rs3 account (I don't even play RS3.. I just recently made a new OSRS account and haven't played RS3 since like 2011).
I've had the same skype since I made this account in 07, and you talk to Dave to verify my real skype.
From the ban message left by staff it appears yall already know I was hacked, I assume from IP's. However, I'm more than willing to do whatever is necessary to solve this issue. However, like I said, I won't have access to my laptop very much until Thursday because I'm at my girlfriends (although I do have my laptop, it's just in my backpack in my truck at the moment).
Please let me know what I can do to secure my account.

Additional information :
I assume that the response I am going to get, judging from research done on other disputes, is this, "account security is your responsibility. If someone hacked you, then you must pay back the victim to be unbanned."
I actually fully understand and agree that this is the right way to handle most of the situations.
However, my paypal account, my email(s), my bank account, and my OSRS account all are untouched. I actually just bought a brand new laptop last week. My system is 100% secure. The hacker gained access through sythe's website vbulletin security breach.
I can actually even prove this. Someone (I assume admin+? log into my account. You'll see I received a PM several days ago from a user named, "dpr7." He sent me my account username, password, email address, and IP address along with something like, "be careful." I didn't respond and had no clue who he was. Before reading further: Yes, 2FA would have been nice to have and would have saved me. I don't currently have an iPhone with access to the app. I broke mine a few weeks ago and have been using a REALLY outdated phone. I will, from now on, set up 2FA with one of my family member's phones though so that this won't ever happen again. It's obviously worth it now.
My account was vulnerable (however they are managing to reach these accounts) through the forum, which was no doing of my own.
I've been a user of the forums since 2007, almost as long as it's been around. I've had a clean slate ever since and have conducted many successful trades. If the security breach had of been a keylogger on my own computer, or occurred because of my own doing, I would understand. I can't afford to shell out hundreds to some guy I don't know because my account was compromised due to a security breach in sythe's forum. I thought I had taken proper precautions, I contacted Dave when I noticed something was wrong. For all I know, the scam could be a con and both parties could have been in on it.. just to try to get me to pay to have my account returned. Who would send over billions of rsgp without a middle man? It's not like I had that many vouches.. Just been here for a long time. Middle men are easy to find now a days.

Also, I looked through the pictures on the scam report. The hacker did his skype name was unorthodox77. I did some research through Google and came to this page:

He's banned, but I did a user ip audit and he's linked to many accounts. Some banned, some not. May want to flag them in case he tries to scam again.

Just got home and fixed my laptop after 2 days, will look into this tomorrow

 

The thing is, you weren't the only one affected by this, and after losing access to your account the first time you should have known to 2fa your account.

That being said, you're responsible for the refund. There's nothing else that can be done about this.
