DarkScape combat

Can anyone explain to me some of the mechanics of combat (PvM not PVP)?
Do some monsters give more XP then others?
Are some weapons more powerful then others (2H's?)

?It's pretty simple since its legacy mode, kind of like pre-eoc with a small few changes like duel weapons. no abilities, 4 combat styles.
Do some monsters give more XP then others? Yeah monsters give higher xp the higher they get, all xp is received on the monsters death
Are some weapons more powerful then others (2H's?)yup, you've probably seen the people running around 1 iteming with an addy 2h hitting 300s at lvl 40, 2h's are pretty op

 

How have strength / defense bonuses changed since eoc and legacy?

 

Strength isn't that important in darkscape, would be worth getting higher attack and defence for better weapons + armour

 

Thanks for the replies. Can you tell me what accounts are considered the best in DarkScape? Seems like the higher level the better - pures aren't the best anymore kinda thing.

 

Yep pures aren't good in darkscape, as high as possible whilst training all attack,str,defence as much as u can would be the best, try to get best weapons possible, you can hit really high in darkscape even with low str

 

Whut is even is this game nowadays..

So how is damage calculated? Just based like solely on the weapon?

 

Yep i believe its just based off the accuracy and the damage

 

Only power armour helps like bandos etc
