    im thinkin of buying one here soon, got someone who might be buying my pure today irl for 300$. so my question is, how is the games for the switch?

    Games im interested in:
    Zelda botw
    pokemon eevee
    Marvel ultimate alliance 3.

    Ive never played this console, last handheld I played was psp.

    I own one. IMO it’s a good investment if you’re a traveler or lounger.

    Other notable games are:
    -Pokemon Sword / Shield
    -Super Smash Brothers
    -The Resident Evil series
    -Mario Kart

    What I love about Nintendo games is that it's much different than most other games.
    I can Highly vouch for Breath of the Wild. There's a reason it has won so many awards. One of my favourite games I've ever played.

    Pokemon Let's go is a really nice game as well. It's however a bit easier than other Pokemon games and it doesn't take very long to complete it. The looks and mechanics are really cool though and I still think it is worth buying.

    Mario Odyssey, Super Smash, Mario Kart and Pokemon sword/shield are also great games.

    I do not recommend Links Awakening as it's relatively boring compared to the other games and after completed ( maybe 2 days ) there's not much you can do.

    Edit: The system itself is also quite decent. It's not as powerful as an Xbox/Playstation but that doesn't decrease the quality of the games. It's also nice how you can play it on your TV, but when someone else wants to use the TV, you can sit on the couch and play it on your Switch Screen :)

    i think even with the purchase of these games, you have to consider a subscription for playing online

    Switch was one of my best purchase. There is a lot of games you can play on it. My favorites are pokemon let’s go, pokemon sword/shield, civilization 6 and breath of the wild. The best thing about the switch is that you can play in front of your tv or monitor and when you are tired you are able to bring your console wherever you want to continue your gameplay.

    Nintendo Switch Lite is also out. Big downside is that there are no detachable controllers but is much more cheaper. in some places 2 switch lites = 1 switch

    About 100$ less for the lite here. I would still recommend the normal switch because the detachable joy-cons is what makes the switch unique.

    I have 2 normal switchs, I love them, I also agree with above its nice to be able to use it both in docked and handheld
