DannyB Scammed Me

Explanation of the trade: I attempted to buy this account from DannyB.

Amount scammed: 300M 07GP

How they scammed: I went first and he didn't hold up his end. I have not received the account information. He has not responded to me on Discord or Sythe PM.

I realize that I exercised virtually no caution and simply trusted DannyB. I made many mistakes. Nonetheless, I am posting this anyway in hope that this will prevent future victims.

messaged him on discord to resolve, had a powercut irl.

 

DannyB has agreed to refund me tomorrow once he regains access to his computer.

 

DannyB has once again failed to meet his commitment. I won't be receiving a refund.

DannyB's version of events is so ridiculous that it's actually humorous. Posting below for your enjoyment.

1. Payment is sent to DannyB
2. DannyB loses power immediately after receiving payment
   
3. DannyB cannot respond to my messages despite appearing online both discord and sythe
4. As soon as the report is submitted DannyB suddenly regains power and apologizes
5. DannyB cannot complete the sale because he cannot find the account details (claims to be original owner)
6. DannyB offers to refund me my money the next day if I first post that the report is resolved
   
7. DannyB claims to have lost the entire 300M and all of his other gp staking
8. DannyB demands that I post that the report is resolved so that he can sell other accounts to Sythe users so that he can get the money to pay me back. He even offers an extra 50M!
9. I obviously decline and that's the end of that.
