• 7 years ago I scammed a user for a $10 membership code. This event is not a reflection of who I am or the moral code I follow. At the time I was 11 years old, and similar to a child in a candy store, I took something that was not mine. I have learned over my time on the RS forums and other forums I am a part of, that being an honest businessman and practicing legitimacy will earn you more than scamming ever would. Ban evading was never my intention, but I saw it as the only opportunity to return to a community where I wished to be a part of (I was unaware of pardons at the time). Since then, I have earned many vouches, many of whom trusted me with relatively large amounts of gold or money. I have had the opportunity to scam hundreds of mils before, an amount much more significant than the $10 scam that occurred 7 years ago. On top of this, I myself have been scammed for two large amounts ($700 and $900) in recent years and understand the painful feeling of getting scammed. I never thought about retaliating and scamming another user because it was unjust and would be hypocritical of me. To conclude, I wish to apologize for my actions and reemphasize the fact that I was a little kid when this minuscule scam occurred, and now I am an adult who can think and act clearly.

@Refuni and @RsnVF0 were both my accounts, and as I explained in my original post, they are from 6-7 years ago. These do not reflect who I am today.
I have already contacted HNCdice and veelaskez to offer them their compensation.
There were never any off-site bans or other profiles, and I would appreciate it if you don't leak my personal information in your responses, as you did with the skype.

A lot of what I wish to reiterate is from my initial post.
I explained how I was a child at the time that these events occurred.
A lot has changed since then, and I've done plenty of deals where I was trusted with $300+ (if you need proof go to my vouch thread, as I cannot access it).
I understand there is a protocol to follow here, but you are punishing someone who has already learned from their mistakes and shown that through actions.
I've donated more to the site than these petty scams combined, and have never rejected using an MM (in fact I am usually the one to suggest it).

@Wortel you also never addressed why you did not bring up this matter earlier, as you have known for over 8 months and continued to process my donations. A bit hypocritical don't you think?

This is possibly the greatest day of being a Sythe moderator in history. I'm being called hypocritical for reporting a ban evader. I've seen enough for today, goodnight.

 

@Wortel I don't know what your problem is with me, but I clearly explained to you that the events you're reporting me for took place 7 years ago. I have offered to compensate the two individuals for the minuscule amounts that I owe them. I've done many legitimate deals since these events occurred, on both Sythe and competing forums. In most these instances, the other user has gone first with relatively large amounts, and I have always held up my end of the deal.

You twisted my words when I accused you of being hypocritical. I stated it was hypocritical of you to acknowledge me being a ban evader and process my donations for your own monetary gain and NOT simply reporting me as a ban evader when you first realized 8 months ago.


To keep things professional and unbiased, I'd like to request a staff member other than @Wortel to review my pardon from this point on.

Hello @Damn Im Evil - Regardless of how long ago they were, these are still valid scam reports and you are required to pay them back (same as anyone else). I'm happy to see that you have changed your ways and figured out that being legit is the way to go, but this does not erase what you have done in the past.

Its likely that he didn't even check to see if you were ban evading until recently, however, this doesn't matter because he found it and reported it.

I have contacted @HNCdice and @veelaskez to verify that they have been paid back.

Thanks for repaying them @Damn Im Evil - The last report that is in question is Reporting Refuni which is a day before you scammed Veelaskez, judging by the report its safe to say you did scam him, however the amount is unclear.

Do you remember how much you scammed @Ninjamember?

 

The amount owed to @Ninjamember is 9M, which at the time was worth $0.55/M, so $5. This has been confirmed by @Charlotte
