Daily Challenge Rewards - Worth It?

I've done the odd Daily Challenge for a few weeks now, and the rewards have been half-decent for the time spent on them, however I did one today, which was to make 10 Defence Potions (My Herblore level was 31)

So, I spent the 40k to make them, took about 30 seconds, got 750xp, then turned in my challenge, and to my delight, I recieved 17k Herblore exp from the master + a challenge mystery bag with 700 Pure Essence (50-60k cash)

So my question is, do you think RS have updated it to entice more people to do the challenges or was that a one off?

 

I love them because it makes it so I can train skills that I do not normally train but basically for free (it reimburses you for what you have to pay for to make x items by usually the full amount, if not more), plus bonus xp.

I've looked into them, and I'm going to start doing skilling ones that are in stats that are expensive to train!

 

They've actually up'd the exp by quite a bit for some of the buyables in one of the recent updates, along with you being able to turn off getting challenges in your maxed skills. With that in mind, it's way worth it; it's as if you're training the skills normally, but with bonus exp added on the end(a nice amount at that).

 

Really? Where can I toggle turning off challenges for my maxed skills? I really hate logging in to see getting a challenge to cook like 300 rocktail =@

 

I think its really worth the exp rewards.
They reward you with exceptionally huge chucks of exp for a task that is rather minimal.

Runescape is just getting easier and easier.

 

The only exceptional amount of xp I've gotten has been from Dungeoneering. I'm level 91 and it's usually for completing one floor on max difficulty - though it sucks because I miss out on the tokens.

 

Just talk to the Quartermaster and the first option should be to toggle skills you're maxed in.
