Only idiots think Alienware are computer Gods. You get sub-par parts for a ridiculously high price. I would suggest setting it at the price of the parts on newegg (or similar sites.)

Total cost comes to $1915, with the case and accessories I'd price it at about 2 grand, which isn't unreasonable. Just don't bring Alienware in. I do have questions about the computer's actual price budget, though.
