Current state of Simba/SRL member scripts

Since you can't even run your own scripts freely in any other bot, I'm considering to join the Simba forums. Can someone tell me if the members-only parts of the forums are active? Do they contain maintained scripts, or is it mostly a script graveyard?

 

Simba is pretty userfriendly. I suggest you to learn a bit of codes and make ur own scripts you can do whatever when you know how!

 

Can't you run your own scripts in OSbot? Im pretty sure you can. Just a heads up.

 

SRL Members are not allowed to disclose the contents of the SRL Members areas.

Feel free to use the public scripts and learn to script though, it's pretty easy and it's even fun once you get some momentum. The tutorials are helpful and if you need more help you can always ask in the scripting help section

 

I already created some helper scripts for my own use. I'd rather share them (FWIW) and fix/use the members scripts than writing everything from scratch. I just want to know if going through the membership process is worth the trouble.

 

If you want to share scripts you're encouraged to, and you don't need SRL Membership to do that.

Also we view the members scripts and members content as a bit of a bonus for being an SRL Member, not the sole reason for becoming an SRL Member. If you apply with an attitude that suggests that you're only there for the scripts you won't be accepted in.

What I can say without leaking anything is that I'm very glad that I learned how to script and become an SRL Member

It was taken, but I didn't think it was leaked. Last I saw someone was trying to get money for it.

That's not really relevant to this though because all forum passwords were reset before the forums were put back online.

 

In my experience, Simba has been the safest botting platform for runescape since it's release. Learning to script is easy. Check it out.

 

I don't have time for meaningless online community chitchat/drama. Of course I want to be a member for the scripts, it's a botting community ffs. But it goes both ways, I'm willing to share my own work and my fixes/improvements on existing scripts. What *should* matter is that the ratio of seeders to leechers is healthy, but I guess you have your own rules and rationale.

 

Actually it's a learning community that happens to have many scripts for Runescape made my community members.

Feel free to not learn or "seed" if you want to, but it's only going to get you as far as other people are willing to get you.

 

It's a very different culture over there.
The bonus scripts that you gain are just that. A bonus.
