[CSGO] PogSalesRs is a scammer.

How they scammed: Had me send the knife then went ghost. No payment sent other than a 1 cent verification. So I have his paypal information too.

Sythe PM picture: N/A. They initiated on steam and refered me to this site for their rep.

No I did not, they messaged me on steam and they told me to check this site for his referrals. I checked and saw lots of vouchers and what not so I was inclined to trust him.

 

You should always request a PM from a user to confirm who they say they are.

Additionally, for such a large trade an MM is highly recommended (some official middlemen do these trades for free).

 

Well I think this is probably the end of my virtual goods life, I just want other users on this site to know they're a scammer so noone else gets caught by this guy

 

It appears his Skype account was hacked, which likely means he's been hacked on Sythe as well. If you look at his recent posts, he's been inactive for a very long time.

I'll be requesting a second opinion as to whether you should be entitled to a refund if PogSalesRS returns, as they were negligent in not having their Sythe or Skype 2FA'd.

Unfortunately, a refund will not be required if PogSalesRS returns. This is due to not having a PM by the user confirming their identity. I'm sorry you were scamming, but I hope you have learned from this experience and will trade safer in the future.
