Crysis 2

I'm surprised at how few people play it. It's such a great and unique game. The live play is so much fun and unlike anything I've ever played. Anyone else have Xbox Live and plays Crysis 2?

I have Crysis 2, but on PC. Yes, I find it quite interesting and the graphics are incredible. However I would say unlike COD, the online is actually better that the campaign, the story was really shit for me.

 

I think the campaign is better , thought online is nice to.

 

I actually enjoyed the campaign a lot. I even beat it on every difficulty. I thought the story was pretty good and it lasted a while. I can't stand when a game has a really short campaign, which is the main reason why I don't like Call of Duty.

 

Fair enough, the main character did not even speak once, honestly not even a whisper from him. It just felt very boring to me, I know COD is a lot shorter but they are hell a lot more interactive and fun for me, they're a lot more dramatic too. I just found Crysis 2 to be entirely based around graphics, online was aright though.

 

I didn't like the fact that the main character didn't speak either. I agree that the story could have been better, but the gameplay more than makes up for it. I haven't played a lot of Call of Duty so I can't say much, but I don't remember it having much of a story at all really. The only one I've played all the way through was COD 4, so I'm not sure how much has changed since.

 

I watched a lot of gameplay over it when it first came out and I must admit I was very impressed. At the time though I purchased Brink instead of it just because I felt like Brink would be a much more revolutionary game (I still love it but the online lag issues made it almost impossible to play, and it died very quickly) and never really considered crysis again.

One of these days here I might pick it up used or something, I just hope people still play it online. I'm not much of a story mode type of guy, the only campaign I've ever truly liked were the Halo series.

 

You should definitely buy it. The graphics alone make it a must own. I've never seen a better looking game. It's unique and there isn't any other game out there like it. Online is great and intense. There are plenty of people who play Xbox Live. You'll never have any trouble finding a match. You can do all types of things with your suit, like run really fast and jump high. You also have stealth and armor mode, which makes things really fun. Halo is pretty much the only campaign I really liked also, along with Gears of War. The Crysis 2 campaign is definitely worth playing though. It's not just your average run and gun shooter. It's also long, which I always like. Overall, I think you would really enjoy it.

 

I thought it was terrible no open world ect crysis 1 beats this hands down terrible game.

 

Lol that's your only reason for not liking it? The only FPS I can think of that has an open world is Fallout.
