Coinbase sucks

I really dislike coinbase. I've spent over $10,000 with them, and out of nowhere today they unverified my account and reduced my buying limit from $3,000/week with a card back to the original $300/week people start with.

I also have to reverify my ID to send any of the money in my account, but my ID is expired so they are telling me it's not possible.

I know plenty of people who have had issues with them as well. I'd avoid using them at this point.

 

It is because of suspected suspicious activity. If you spent over 10k then you will be flagged by coin base and reported to the IRS as per law. They were never perfect anyways. Once a person tried to cash out their bitcoin and coin base froze their $250k from leaving to the bank account and after repeated requests over months he finally got it back.

Coinbase is awful, I no longer use them. I only use P2P now.

 

I strictly avoid using Coinbase. Absolutely terrible company, I can't wait for more retail BTC businesses to step up their competition with them.

 

So many barriers infront of using their service, god dam!

I have a $175,000/week instant buy limit @ 0.0075% fees that were specially reduced.

All the people who complain about coinbase just are not among their wealthier clients - I've bought half a million(USD) in cryptocurrency and never had a single issue ever. I also paid an absolute pittance over the past several years in terms of fees for it.

People who don't use coinbase are committing fraud most likely - It's always a red flag when I ask if someone has a coinbase and they say no.

Think about my message - Than think about why you got yours locked and rethink about what you just said. Even if u weren't dealing with a fishy person I said "most likely" which the irony is in your statement.

yeah, as of a couple months ago I stopped using CB altogether idk, they are just to governed since they blew up.

 

I recently bought 500$ btc and they put a 18 day hold on my btc, I can buy btc but I cant send or sell.. Anyone know how to get around this? My account is verified!????

 

Never had issues with Coinbase, always very quick to resolve any issues. I don't use my coinbase account with RS related trades, I'll rather use Localbitcoins for that. Besides using localbitcoins frequently gives me chance to build a solid reputation on it for potentially future side hussle.

Overall for RS I recommend localbitcoins and Coinbase for everything else.
