I got this thinking I could watch Attack On Titan English Dub.

I was sad to see that they only have the English Subtitles for most shows. I simply enjoy shows less when they are subbed. Any idea why they lean toward subbed and not dubbed content?

They could make a killing and reach a larger audience like myself who prefer the dubbed shows.

 

because most people prefer subbed and subbed creates a better experience generally. a lot of shows have dubbed versions but its takes a while for newer shows.

 

Can you explain this in a way that actually answers the question?

 

some dubs can be good but most create an obvious lack of quality. the animation and the voices often times dont synchronize well and you dont get the same type of emotion from the voice actors, as it was intended.

to better answer your question, it comes down to licensing and money as to why CR doesnt have many dub options. dubbed anime have their own rights and usually dubbed anime were created for TV. Funimation is the main dub company and holds a lot of rights to many dubbed anime. Funimation and CR used to be partners but they split while back.

so basically CR cant offer some of the english dubbed version because of legal rights, and also because a lot of anime dont have dubbed versions, as it isnt smart to put money into a project that is a big risk and might not profit you. Popular anime usually have dubbed but it takes longer to release.
