Being hacked isn't hard to avoid, it's just like scamming. If you know the correct procedures and precautions it won't happen.

Anyway, here is another story:
I had a friend with 30 Fire Capes.
I was so bad in PvM etc at the time, I couldn't get a Fire Cape.
So he always laughed at me, BUT someday he got hacked.
Hacker dropped all Fire Capes + Changed his name to IHaveNoFCape
Karmaa.
