Crowdsourcing Allowed?

Out of curiosity, am I allowed to crowd source on Sythe? And if so, which section should I post it in?

I will be offering pay as well (somewhere between $3-5) for just basic things, like going on one of my websites and to give a report on user interface.

 

Probably not. It'd most likely fall under investment, and that whol thing with Stui blew that.

 

This isn't investing, this is just mostly micro work.

I'm not taking money at all, I'm just paying to get small tasks done.

In the event this IS allowed though, would you be interested? I'd just like to take an interest poll as well.

 

Oh, well then that would be allowed. Crowd sourcing is sort of a vague term as it could be related to crowd funding as well. Oh, yeah. I don't see an issue with it. I'd say just post it where the most appropriate section for the work commissioning.

 

I think it should be fine as long as you put it in the sand box or something.

Is this MTurk related? Can hmu if you want to ask about what you're trying to do > pm is best

 

No, but I guess it's something similar.

It's mostly just looking at a website, and then writing a report on how easy/difficult it was to navigate the site, load times, whether or not the site is appealing, what you would change about it, and so on and so forth.

 

As long as you are speaking of crowd sourcing, and not crowd funding, I can't see any issues

 

Definitely do that kind of thing on MTurk.

 

Yeah, I know what MTurk is but what I mean is that am I allowed to offer this kind of thing on Sythe.

I already have a couple of sites in mind that I could use for this type of micro work, I'm just looking to see if I can extend this kind of work to Sythe.

 

If you use MTurk you don't need to advertise anywhere. If you're paying as much as you are, you'll get 1k responses an hour.
