Crazy prices for things bought/sold in G.E.!

When i first started my pure i wanted grey top and hat, i put in 50k for each and they both bought in for 50k.. :S

 

I currently have an offer in GE for 5,000 of an item at the price of 1 GP when it is worth a few thousand GP more than that.

About 100 or so buy per day.

When I get all 5,000 I'll high alch them all for a nice profit.

I had to pay 1k for an uncut opal which is normally 20 gP, and I couldn't buy bootyshorts for 70k ):

 

I'm poor at the moment, lol...hence me doing weird things like that.

I should try to find more items like that, it was only by chance I stumbled onto it the other day while trying to sell one and I thought of it.

I had a pic of a player buying a phat for 1600m, and then instantly reselling it for 2100m.

I'm not on the right computer now though, I'll try and dig it up

I do this regularly with one certain item. I spend a few mil, paying around the med price in ge, and then in less than a week they sell for double or even triple times their med price.

 

what item might that be? you should pm me it!

 

i use to buy war helms at fremmys for like 79k or w/e and they would allways sell for 100k+ in g.e i think i hav some screen shots..

 

Reminds me of when they made 200gp Climbing boots 75k each, and certain people who got tipped off bought loadsss of them, i have about 1.1m's worth after the update because i had a few stocked in my bank for pking and gwd etc (When i didn't have trollheim tele) so i got 1.1m from it lol

Good point, haha everyone will get scammed eventually just gotta be cautious with trades and i only trade with trusted people on this site. i dont ever trade with anyone that has less than 100 vouches haha.

Yeah those prices are for items that are hard to get in-game or require some time to get. It has always been like that, nothing to worry about.

 

I think I bought the dye for 5k instead.

I also used to buy items like mystic boots and splitbark boots in the grand exchange for 1gp and eventually someone would sell it for that and I made about 2-3M from that.



Thats about 2M already and I've removed my offers for other items that I've made a lot from too.
