    I know I've done it before since I don't like waiting for things to buy. If I see an item that normally is like 500-1k at most and it doesn't buy, I end up putting in like 50-100k for one.


    Don't recall hearing of someone managing that, but I have heard of someone managing to get one for ~10m.

    This happens more often than you think :p People get lazy, desperate, or they make a mistake, and they end up overpaying crazily for an item with little value. People also put low valued items into the GE for a high price sometimes just as a joke, and it ends up buying and leaving them speechless :p

    Awhile ago I was selling a load of dragon bones, and as I was typing in a custom price I accidentally missed one digit, so I ended up selling the whole stock of bones for a few hundred GP each because some bastard had a lowball offer in the GE haha. Thankfully it was only a few hundred bones and not thousands.

    I once needed a sapphire lantern to get back to my grave at tds.. well I didn't have a sapphire and they weren't selling..

    Ended up buying one off ge for like 20m only to get back to grave worth 10m..kinda funny though imo
