Need a budget Gaming PC!

Hey guys, i need some help building my own "gaming pc" on a budget. It needs to be able to stream (simple stuff like runescape+ maybe counter-strike), render and edit videos + just be a great fast pc.

All suggestions are appreciated. Around a 500-700$ budget

 

Have you tried doing any research?

 

The graphics card will be what you want to spend the brunt of your cash on. You can find good cards that were worth $600 2-3 years ago on Craigslist and Kijiji for around $50-200. I've got the ATI Radeon 5870 myself, a card worth I think $550 3 years ago, bought it for $150. Runs anything maxed.

Everything else you can get on online stores like newegg and tigerdirect. Do 10 minutes of research on each part and you'll be good to go.

 

What is your background knowledge on building a computer. Have you build one before, do you know the primary components of a PC. Let us know what you know and what research you have already done.

 

I'd tell him to buy a 7950. It's only 200 and change and quite a good card for a budget.
