Hi, I wrote an essay for my Sophomore history class and I need some help proof reading. My essay is about Hernan Cortez so minimal knowledge on the conquistador might be helpful, but it is not necessary as I'm mainly looking for grammar help as I am horrible with grammar.

This essay has already been turned in and I've received a grade, I'm doing an optional rewrite now. I'm curious to what you would personally give as a grade for my essay just to see if what my teacher gave matches other people's expectations.
