    Cost to play

Hi, I've been out of the game for several months now as I left RS2 when EOC was established.

Now my question is, 6 months has passed, is oldschool runescape going to be free still or are they introducing a charge (as they mentioned when we voted).

as of right now it's "free" to play. you need to be a member to play & no additional costs right now.

The thread said he's played before he is aware of the requirement of membership. He was referring to them contemplating an additional charge to play old school. The answer is no. Oldschool only requires membership no additional charge.
