Corruptionx Vs Battlescape

The title is self-explanatory.
So recently, I have been browsing around the "Other Account Sales" section in Sythe because I am looking for obviously, other game accounts and I found Battlescape / Corruptionx accounts and I am like WTF is that, a new era of private servers.

I personally have a level 137 and a 138 on Runescape, so chances are I probably won't be turning to Battlescape / Corruptionx but I gotta give credit to the developers of those pirvate servers that they are successful, I mean it. Very successful. Why?

Simple reason. Corruptionx and Battlescape GP I see, are being sold for 0.15 cents / 0.20 cents a mil here on Sythe. That obviously means people play them a lot and are quite serious about achieving high prospects on it.

Now I have a question for you guys. Which one do YOU play? Is Corruptionx or Battlescape more reliable. By "more reliable" I mean, the site won't crash or one day suddenly turn down. And finally, which one do you think has a better gameplay in general (Ex: distribution of wealth [inflated items? easy to make money? AND how developed is the game? WORKING minigames? WORKING bosses?)

I play neither and have no intention to.
This belongs in the Runescape private server section I believe.

battlescapes bigger but u have to pay for members and shit, imo corruptionx is funner

 

I have been watching plenty of videos on youtube comparing the two and what I found out is that battlescape tends to focus more on PvP as the majority of the videos are PvP related.

And you are probably right about Battlescape having more people because it seems like it has been around longer. However, the main page of Corruptionx states that they are the most developed and I can see that in the videos because they literally have almost every location / aspect of Runescape 2.

You are also correct on the membership part. I agree and it sucks because clearly the gold membership people get access to world 2 and are just going to prosper while all the rest of the servers are flooded.

CorruptionX does have a donor-advantage though. For example, phats can only be bought for $15. But yea, I definitely agree that CorruptionX is perhaps more fun because it is more developed.

Battlescape. Simply cause it has more thing to do and does not constantly ask you to vote.

 

Here is my opinion. I have played both of those servers. They are both stable and have almost the exact same gameplay. It really just comes down to which one you think is better really. Try them both out.

Now comes the slight flaming. Do not play private servers. For the most part, I see little kids who cannot achieve real skill levels in the real RS so they come to these servers. They are immature brats, even more so then real RS. I cannot find as mature players on any private server. Secondly, paying to have power in a video game because you lack the mental capacity to actually gain these powers is pointless.

Haha. Bro, I agree with every bit of that.
Right now my RS account is being trained on and will be for a while so I'm just thinking in the meantime why not try out a private server for the first time.

And also, I thought CorruptionX was more developed in terms more gameplay, a larger world to explore? Is it the same..? :/

 

Honestly, I can't really give you an explanation other then what I already know:
1) Private servers are run based on numbers. Each update has an assigned number such as 562 for the patch. I don't know how they are assigned, but I do know that 601 was the first release of Dungeoneering and that the 300s are RS2 without the graphical updates.

I know that those two are the same in some respects. They both have Bandos, both have relatively good pking and both have economies. I haven't played to much in depth on either as I prefer real RS over private servers.
I would start with CorruptionX as that is the general concentration, but if you don't like it, then change to the other server. It is all based on the players own opinion. It might be a sin to say, but I actually really hate RS pking. I love the game to death, but Pking just is really shady for me. So, I would look for a server with great skilling on it and less on the overall pking aspects.

 

You should try out both, then find out what server you like better.

I hate PvP. And Battlescape is too pvp-focused according to videos I've seene on youtube.

For those that think PvP requires ANY skill, I totally disagree. I think it's just a bunch of bull shit.

Didn't play any,I rather play as rs free player rather than battlescape p2p，becoz u nv know when will it be closed down...maybe in 2year time 1 mil on bs will be sold for 0.02cent ea...as the owner try to cr8 more money and sell it...+I doubt battlescape had more than 40k player ea day
