    It happened. Mod Mark claimed it to not be a abuse of a bug. Abuse a glitch all you want, they desperate for cash, they won't ban anyone.

    Corp Glitch?

    Coinshare. It took the average market price, put it in the GE, and splits it between the players. Sense this glitch was giving them coins directly, and nobody is buying the shields at 'market' price mass amounts of gold was brought into the game.

    As it is now, there are probably hundreds & hundreds of sigils sitting in the GE waiting to be sold (though they never will be at the price that they got paid out at) and the coins have already been paid out.

    Prices will now inflate and hopefully no bans. It's JaGex's mistake and I don't see why it would be neccessary to bring their hammer's out on this one.

    Go look it up on the forums, recent updates. A mod made a post about it, no players where banned nor rerolled, they took fully responsibility.

    Guys this is not fake, however by time I got there we only got like 5 drops and the team was pretty greedy, they went with lootshare instead of coin... I'm a little mad about that. The last drop we got was a regular spirit shield, i lmfao'd.
