Well, The told me that someone named Andrew in england told him that they were talking to someone on his online game and They said they were gona kill themselves so Andre gave the police my IP/Internet provider then the police when to Rogers ( My Internet provider) And they told them where my house address was..

 

Wow... jagex called the cops on you lol next time Im going to keep that in mind.

My friend had it happen like 2 days ago.
Its because of the whole WoW fiasco and the guy killing himself.


for people who don't belive,

they take the appeal, track the IP.
They then send the IP to it's local police station.
The police are informed and sent to check if something is seriously wrong.

 

How did they get your address?

 

Jagex has a corporate duty to report such threats. People have killed themselves over games before.

someone else's post gave me an idea if your bored over the holidays or soemthing. get a heap of accounts and get them banned then go to internet cafe or a freinds and send in death threats or bomb threats, ect. and see if the cops roll up their, ur mates would be mad as hell. epic
