Converting into Proselyte "Pure" Main

So, coming back to Runescape after numerous years I decided I wanted to build an Initiate Pure - the thought being that I could PK effectively while also being able to enjoy other higher end activities that 1 def pures could not.

The problem that has arisen, however, stems from the fact that I did no research into making an initiate pure prior to making the account. Thus, now after doing more research, I have realized that this account cannot be optimal as an initiate pure (as I didn't quest my def up to 20).

As a result, I have decided to convert this account, which is serving as my main mind you, into a 30 def Proselyte Pure.

Account is also serving as my main, thus, some of my updates will be on

After a weekend away for my five year high school reunion, which, consequentially, led to me to taking a day and a half off to catch-up on schoolwork, we're back to it!

Goals completed:
1) Total Level of 1250
2) Addy Defender
3) 30 Defense Through Questing
4) The Slug Menace (and prereqs)
5) One Graceful Piece

The end of summer classes, along with other commitments and hobbies, really hampered the amount of time I was able to play this week - still, I was able to complete some goals this week.
Most importantly this week, however, was the realization that I suck at pking.

Goals completed:
1) 80 Cooking
2) 75 Strength

FAQ:

Why not a Zerker?
- Probably, eventually. For now, however, I wish to stop at 30 def.

Why not make a main, and then a pure?
- I am a Master's Student currently studying for the LSAT. Not to mention other commitments and hobbies. What it comes down to is time and commitment.

I have a zerker (still in progress) which is my only account.
Just finished MM2 on it. Was definitely a lot of fun. B gloves, fire cape, rune defender, torso, the works. Only thing I lack is venge.

I must say it's possible to boss on it even with relatively bad stats. It may not be very efficient but the challenge adds to the fun of it.

Great progress @FireTaco, some of the others are right about 30 def pures not being all that great when matched against some other builds so if you'd be open to questing the defense and getting b gloves, I'd strongly suggest you do that! But when it comes down to it, it is your account and you've got to do what makes you happy haha! Either way, great progress! I look forward to seeing more updates!
