    Was in a transaction with someone and his only way of payment was paypal, now the money was kind of needed of course the thought of "will i find someone else in the time the money is needed?" crossed my mind and of course the logical choice was to see this through using this bullshit of a company.

    Of course I haven't used paypal in a while and my old old old account from like 5-6 years ago was limited due to a chain reaction of fraud leading to a received transaction by myself. So I decided to let my mother make an account for me to use..

    So it all went well until paypal limited both accounts. I did not know that you needed to verify your identity = photo id before receiving and sending money. Which is bullshit, you don't need to verify yourself to receive money, it's just some scam for them to cancel the payment and hold the money until both users undo the limitations set on both accounts.

    The funny part is, they fee'd the payment for the reversal that wasn't needed. Both parties were happy and now the sender is unruly and is angry that his paypal was also limited with $220 left on it. He is unable to verify himself because he doesn't have his license.

    Now this is the real problem, after my mother verifies herself where is the money going too? Will it be released to me? Or will it be held until the sender undoes his limitation as well.

    I was unaware that this is what paypal does, they said it's government regulated to prevent fraud, but this just makes paypal more of a bitch to use and again more unreliable than they claim to be.

    I often find myself doing things I said I will never do, just to feel bad about actions I probably knew was going to happen.

    Tldr = Government can smd

    Well, I'd give them a call and talk with someone about what happened... Then find another way for that person to pay you.
