Explanation:
KO initially paid for a discord bot for $1,100. He has a lot of things added on which accumulated to $1,425 (Video is the Middle Man and can confirm if needed). The original contract is shown below:

As shown - they confirmed Shin had been messaged and had confirmed that he would check my source code. The bot has been completed for weeks and they asked Shin to code check my source. They didn't like the price he estimated so they are refusing to release funds unless I let a random "trusted" coder check my code. I did not agree to this.

Finally, since Shin was going to code check the code originally, I was going to obfuscate the code for my own protection against KO sharing my source with another dev. I didn't think this would be a problem since Shin was code checking it anyways. I would like to send my obfuscated code to him but need permission to do so.

nowhere in the contract does it say i will be receiving 'obfuscated code' hidden code i cannot fully see, after months of working on this bot he only mentions this today, he says he always planned on giving me 'hidden code' but thats nonsense, if that were the case why does the contract say 'i cannot share this code' if it was hidden why would he care if i shared it, why would i purchase a bot with hidden code i cannot see, and trust my business on his word.

and as far as you saying ' i didnt like the price' no mention of extra money was mentioned for him to check the code, only today when the bots completed was i told it would be at least $500 and $50/hour more if it takes longer then 10 hours to check. But the issue here is he never mentioned until today that he was selling me 'obfuscated code' so i cannot even check the code to the bot im purchasing on my own, it will be hidden from even me.

The thing is I would have been perfectly fine sending him the un-obfuscated code before he started acting weird about it. He wants to hire a 3rd party besides Shin to view the code which I denied.

He's claiming he's going to teach himself to code check it when he has no background experience in the field. If he's willing to teach himself for 6-12+ months while also working on his discord, then he can go for it. But I know he's going to go behind my back and hire a 3rd party which I won't have proof of.

You have to understand that as a Developer - my code is valuable to me when I put so much effort into it. If that 3rd party takes my code, they can re-use and re-sell it as much as they'd like.

 

i am paying you 1200-1400 to make me a bot, and i want the code not to be hidden from me, i dont see the problem , you didnt have a problem earlier, now your saying i started to act weird, i am not acting weird i am ensiuring the bot/code is legit for me to use in my business, if u call that weird idk what to tell you. I been around 9 years people trust me i cannot use a bot given to me with 'hidden code'

he claims above he was going to give me the full source with nothing hidden, but thats not true, he says even though your paying almost 1500 for the bot you will be receiving hidden code, cuz i dont trust you, this is nonsense and never once did he say this to me in the last 2 months, he stated above he was giving me full unhidden code but thats a lie

 

and after 2months of working on this bot, he wont let any trusted coders check the work before i take the bot and only shin can look at it , for $500 which was never told to me and now it can only be done this weekend or he wont view it at all, what is this nonsense

how can i purchase a bot and have the code hidden so not even i can look at it, and im suppose to use this bot in my business, that people trust me everyday to be legit ?

 

i agree to have shin check the code for $500 but when i receive the bot i want the full source without anything hidden, is what i want, if your willing to do so let me know

 

Request Closed, We've agreed to have shin look over the code and dev zach agreed to give us the full code once it's fully operational on our discord.
