Hey guys,
I've noticed that my left eye gets a little red where my bottom eyelid lays on my eyeball. It only happened when I wore my contacts and it's only happened recently. I've been taking out my contacts every night and they're relativly new. My contacts are the 30 day kind and my eye doctor told me that I could sleep in them but I never do because I just don't trust it. Well to get back tithe point, I've been putting eye drops in the reduce the redness and irritation. Last week, I kept my contacts out for a good 4 days and my eyes felt great again. I put the in yesterday and after a few hours, I've noticed my left eye was very irritated. I've since taken out my contacts and been adding eye drops however my left eye is really red and the eye drops have done little to reduce this. I've looked some things up on the web and found that it could be pink eye or conjunctivitis and I'm not sure if I need a new set of contacts or what. I budget my way through my contacts because they're quite expensive and I don't really want to switch out the pair. Is there anyway to extremely clean my contacts? I've just used solution and rubbed it in a little bit.
Also could this be conjunctivitis? I've never had this happen before and I'm a little worried.
Thanks guys.
I will be changing out my contacts for a new month because of this issue. I just want to find out if this is a common thing that may happen
