Search engines can't index the deep web since there aren't links connecting them and stuff. Google has been working on ways to better index it though. And not suggesting vulgar words is not censorship. If you want to search for it, you still can.

True, in a way, but you can still see that this is a purposely done thing in many cases. Sure, plenty of the deep web is just bad SEO, but it is also full of illegal material, and Google does make sure it is not related to it - tho TBH I don't blame them.

There are certain things that Google and the lot need to not put up because it is illegal. Like, if someone says.... Don't index my site... They HAVE to listen and things such as that. But otherwise, they are basically open (or should be to preserve the integrity of the web).

These censorship laws are just plain stupid. They put anyone at risk as some may not releaize what they are doing, others may not even notice they are connecting to the site as it was a popup or in an ad. It removes free speech across the internet and there are other ways that internet piracy can be combated such as suing P2P programs, the people providing the illegal files via contacting the site and requesting the information. Most site owners will want to comply with the law and will leak small info to stay in the good books of the law authorities.

    Agree'd.
Besides, it's impossible to sensor the internet. It's literally impossible.

It is possible to make it much, much, much harder to get on certain websites.

I don't think it will happen, the task is nearly impossible.

Another fail part to this bill is that they're only censoring domain names so all you have to is enter the ip and you can get on.

I couldn't see this getting passed. There are some obvious violations of the constitution and such there..

Won't happen, anyone who considers voting will most likely vote No.

If it happened, ways to bypass this would be common, and support for the government would fall. Internet is what connects society.

Congress passes laws that violate the Constitution all the time and many times the courts say taxpayers do not have standing to sue the government so then there is no check or balance with them. I'd assume this law would be the same.
