Conciousness, where does it go when we leave our vessel

I don't believe I was. I think I was another form of life, and I just don't recall the experiences I had

 

We are basically little machines, are organs/muscles etc are just parts.
Once they stop working, we stop working.

Our consciousness is our brain receiving signals, once are brain shuts down, it can't receive signals so we lose it all.

 

this post is exactly how i feel, 100% we were born from nothingness, and die in nothingness

When you're dead, you're dead. Your mind gets eaten by the worms and maggots and the other things that crawl into your coffin. So multiple vessels, I suppose.

 

To be alive right now in space and time is a huge miracle in so many different ways. Maybe when you die its like going to sleep and when you wake up it will be at a different point in time maybe billions of years down the track or in a parralell universe, where it can align for you and your consciousness to be reborn.
Shut me down if you will but us being alive right now in a universe that is billions of years old seems like the biggest coincidence of all time. We may be technologically advanced but we still have a lot to learn about the universe we live in.

 

You have to find out for yourself bud. Everyone else did based on their Illusion of knowledge.

First off, are you talking about death, or about astral projection. Seconly, do we really know our soul leaves our body, or that the soul exists? Granted if both of these are true, why do you figure souls and consciousnesses are different entities?

My view entirely, but this is worded slightly nicer than the guy who described it as maggots eating your brain. In the end it's the same result though.
