Daylight?

But in my opinion bikes are meant for riding skate boarding/inline skating is meant for tricks

mmm

look up that in a book.

BMX for dummys lol?

Have anyone near you that is good with bmx? Start riding with them and get them to make you better. Btw if you cant do this by the end of the week http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENYlW92nYV0 Go on myspace and cry about everything, Buy all the latest fashion trends and still roll around on your bike like your someone. Start cutting yourself too!

I recently bought a norco sasquach, great bike.

I am learning some tricks, but I have been riding for years now. I can mono (e.g. wheelie) ok, but my jumps aren't the best. I use to be able to do stoppies on my old bike, but I don't wanna ruin my new one, it's also painful when your flying downhill and your stoppie goes too far =P.

A good place to learn tricks is youtube. Or just go down to your local BMX track like me (if you have one).

- Phatmat.

BMX bikes are useless seeing as skateboards are the only thing good for tricks and BMX can't handle on mountain trails very well.

how dare you...

besides - i bought the bmx mainly for crusing - i just wanan learn stuff like a wheelie, simple stuff lol

First mate try and get 3 peice cranks.

if your handle bars are to long.. you can cut them in ( take grips off and saw of the bars untill suitable length)

For a easy place to check parts. go to ebay.com

It shows pictures of bikes + descriptions of bikes and a good price.
Oh also what kind of tricks are you trying to do?

and are you planning to ride street/vert/dirt.

cheers Jay

well i just wanna know how bikes are assembled, and how each part fits together...

also why 3 peice cranks?
and how long should handle bars be?

i jsut wanna street ride, and maybe sometimes dirt (like park/woods)

I'm not messing around or anything but these forums arn't really the place to ask. But try googling "BMX forums" or "BMX", ect that way you'll know that you'll be in the place orientated around what your looking for. ;).
