Computers. Video Cards, Processors, etc

Well, My motherboard just plain sucks, let's get that out of the way.

Let's just say, I'm not getting a new one, so don't try to convince me. Now, I want to get a Athlon 64x 2x 4400-6000 but I'm wondering what can that motherboard handle up to.

Just as well with Video Cards. Just because my mobo has a PCI-E slot, does that mean it can handle ANY video card that uses a PCI-E slot?

Now, all I'm trying to do is basically run BETTER games at LOWER specs. As long as a game is playable on Lowest settings, I'm the happiest mofo in the world. So, can I play CoD4, BioShock, L4D, etc on the lowest possible settings with these new 'tools'? Also, I'm upgrading from 512 ram to 2.5g so, yeah.

Any help is appreciated and I want to learn about this stuff, so anything you have to say that isn't retarded or "Get a better mobo" I'll listen to. Thank you =)

 

For a processer i would suggest any Dual Core.

And the Video Card your looking at look's pretty good to me.

 

get a Amd 64 x2 6000

i got one 3ghz 2gb ram 1gig graph card, i run windows vista and i have never lagged once

bought it from ebay for $400 AUD (thats including postage and the ram and graph card)

 

I like what your looking at, but have you thought about getting one built?
