    Computers: Need A Little Help

Hey everyone, and thanks for taking the time to help me out.

I'm looking to do a cheap and dramatic upgrade to my old computer. I bought this computer pre-built from a local computer store 3 years ago. Even 3 years ago it wasn't good, but it got the job done.

    Current motherboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P4i65g
    Current RAM: [2 sticks] 256MB, DDR, 333MHz
Current processor: Intel C28085-003 [Not sure of the specifications, couldn't find a link. Single core]
    Current power supply: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LPJ2---350W-P...temQQimsxq20100125?IMSfp=TL100125157002r19803

I am looking to upgrade my motherboard, ram, and processor. Looking for a decent CPU, something like a duel-core, possibly a cheap quad-core. Looking for atleast 4GB ram, along with a motherboard that will support everything, and if I need an upgraded powersupply, so be it.

If you can, please use this website, as I am familiar with it: www.tigerdirect.ca

    Thanks in advance!

Upgrading this computer isn't a good idea. The parts will be old and expensive. If you insist on upgrading it, buy 1 or 2 GBs of RAM. Any other upgrade would be a waste of money.

Give me a budget and I'll price up an entire build for you with links etc.

I've built two computers so I pretty well know what to buy etc.

I've customized a desktop with no monitor at Dell.ca for $999. Comes with an i7 processor. The only reason I've chosen that one is because the payment per month is cheap.
