COMPUTER SPEC and CSGO

hey im not sure where this post is really mean't to go so if someone moves it could you pm me so basicly I'm wanting to upgrade my specs and i want to be able to run csgo on max graphics with around 60fps I only get around 30-40fps in 1920x1080 so i put it in 1600x800 for 58-64 fps and i was wondering what i would need to buy and how much it would cost these are my specs https://gyazo.com/85cb1b07338dde92672d58462d8812ed

OP, you should consider an upgrade on your processor, your current one isn't the most terrible but it can be much better.. Ram shouldn't be an issue since it dosen't effect FPS. What graphics card do you have?
You're probably looking at a new processor+graphics card(depending on current one) It shouldn't be much, shop around, look at reviews etc. Whats your price range? AMD Quad-Core A8-Series APU A8-6600K with Radeon HD 8570D would be decent for a low budget.

 

Your CPU is shit and if your CPU is shit your graphics card probably is, too

 

2 cores 2 threads is a bit outdated for modern games. You'll have to upgrade your cpu before considering a graphics card. CS:GO is cpu heavy, meaning you'll bottleneck any high end graphics card you put in.

You could upgrade to a 4790k I think that's on LGA 1150..? then upgrade to at least a 2GB card, a 970 would be a good place to start.

For 1080P you're right, on CS:GO.. I presumed the 4790k would be pretty affordable now with the x99 chipsets, probably not the case. What other 1150 sockets would be better suited? Perhaps a 4690k?

 

Just get a 4460 and a 960+ /amd equivalent

 

Like any ivy bridge+ i5 would do just fine tbh. Don't even need the K series, doubt OP plans on OCing. Since we'd be keeping the same mobo something like a 4430 or 4440 would be fine.

 

Honestly if they are rocking a Pentium there is a good chance that they aren't able to rebuild this computer.

No. I know you CAN do it, I don't imagine the user that has the Pentium to be competent enough to do it himself though.

 

What's so hard about it? Undo the lock, pop out the old CPU and remove heat gel, reapply new heat gel and put new CPU on, apply lock. There are endless amount of Youtube videos that demonstrate it if it's too difficult a concept.
