computer randomly lags/buffers when clicking also with audio

So a few days ago started happening computer randomly lags or buffers for a few seconds constantly, same with audio will lag out of nowhere. anybody know how to fix it? Sorry this is pretty vague if somebody needs more detail of the issue I can try and provide it, thanks

 

@strawsombrero Are you on Windows? Did you recently have an update to Adobe Flash Player? A recent Windows update messed mine up pretty good a few weeks back. Constant buffering, audio turning off completely. I had to go into > Task Manager > Services > AudioSrv > Right Click + Restart > That would temporarily solve my problem, eventually I deleted the update and it stopped.

Might not be your problem but it for me it impacted everything, Youtube, general audio, Windows Media Player, FB Videos, etc. etc. Was very peculiar.

 

I am on windows, and I do recall a recent thing asking if I wanted to update flash player or w/e like it always does randomly, how do I delete the update?

 

What version of Windows? That update I am almost POSITIVE is what cucked all of my applications, not only because after I full on uninstalled it the problem disappeared completely, but because the day I installed it, they started happening. And it was so weird. I think it was mis-calibrated or something. It would turn off my audio completely, make Youtube videos impossible to run (just the spinning wheel forever), etc. I'm sure there's a way to delete the update itself, I didn't want to take any chances so I just outright went into Add/Remove programs and deleted Flash completely. Then re-installed a fresh copy of it from their website. No problems since then.

Hope that's the issue! Sounds like it's impacting you a little differently than mine but could still be the same thing. It was a "Security Update for Adobe Flash Player" or something along those lines.

 

going to try it out, although the audio on my part that lags seem to be becuase all my other stuff lags itself

That sounds similar to what happened to me. Windows Media Player was literally unusable. Would give me an error message. Then Youtube. Then FB Vids. Then audio would become completely die. Happened to me on my Windows 8.1 desktop.

However, my brother was reporting problems on his Windows 10 laptop with stuttering as well. And lo and behold, he also saw that same type update.

I have no real way of knowing 100 percent if that was the problem for any of us, but for me I'm pretty much 100 percent sure. As a restart to the system did NOT get rid of the problem. I didn't even notice it went away until after I deleted flash.

Worth a shot at the very least. Worst case scenario is it does nothing. Then we can try other things out.

 

It's very difficult to pinpoint Windows 10 related problems I've found. My laptop is on Windows 10.

I enjoy Windows 10 but it is fucking littered with small obscure problems like this. It has so many small errors that happen completely out of the blue.

managed to get rid of it yesterday (I hope for good) by deleting a bunch of shit from recent installed, one being adobe auto encoding or something along those lines, it was either that or the deleting of AVG antivirus.

 

Not sure wtf is up with Adobe lately but their updates have been AWFUL

@ bleed ikr legit garbage i opened up my pc spent so much time doing all this shit and it was that simple thing that I didn't know I had downloaded and didn't do it manually.

This was on my custom pc, the lenovo lap top is running like a charm

 

Well my mac has been having the same issue for months so thats why I have resorted to using my phone.
