Competitive gaming?

I used to play Counter-Strike 1.6 competitively.

I played about 5-6 seasons of CAL. CAL-O, P, and IM.

I miss my 1.6 days

 

N4N0, it's good to hear some 1.6 in this thread, CS:S is too overrated.

I'm going to be playing CEVO Season 15, coming up next month for CS1.6, I also plan on getting ESEA for 1.6 in a week or so to improve my game before CEVO starts.

I've been playing since CS1.3, when I was around 5 years old.

I played Halo 3 competitively back in its prime. I wouldn't call myself super amazing or anything, but definitely decent. I've gotten 3x doubles 50s, 2x ts 50s, 1x lone wolf 50, and a 49 in MLG. Never did manage to get the 50 in MLG, but I probably could have had I kept playing longer and gotten a booster (was taking like 10 games per level at 400ish EXP).

I have never played COD MLG or anything but I'd like to think I'm pretty damn good at the game. I don't snipe or any of that bullshit, that's pretty much fanboy crap if you ask me. I had like 6 days played (I don't bother prestiging, too damn lazy) and a legit KD of 1.77 in MW2. Never bother with BO, got to like level 40 and got bored of it. MW1 I never really played all that much because Halo is infinitely better imo and it was at its prime during MW1 days. COD5 shouldn't even get a mention. Neither should Reach.

Yeah that's about it. I just play PC games now. Not competitively though. I still try my best and try to win, but I don't tryhard and try to form teams or be all montagical anymore.

OT: What's your k/d and w/l in the cod games you play

 

My main account before I sold mine was:*Note this is for Halo and CoD, Legit*

-Halo 3: All 50's, and over 5k experience in the MLG playlist along with 3K+ in Snipers/Doubles.

-CoD: Mw2: 4.77 KD and a 10.81 W/L KD. That's legit before hacked lobbys. Also, my black ops account had a 10.21 KD with a 67.84 W/L KD(Only played SnD and FFA and when playing SnD, was always playing with my GB team).

 

I've played some doubles in MW2 using Gamebattles, never won anything but had a fun time.

 

Thats' what gaming is for, fun, and owning. Also making people rage.

 

I've never been in anything official. At the YMCA where I work, we sometimes set up competitions for the video games that we have like Super Smash brothers, football, etc.

I never want to be either though, I would never be able to find the time to dedicate to a video game... even if I had the time, I don't think I'd be able to "train" for so long...

 

Yeah that's why I quit comp., because I could never find time for it anymore; but i'm suggesting going back to it for the school year; since i'm finished with school.

Never really did any game competitions wasn't to tech since I was into sports. When I was a kid though I always played games. Probably the only game competition I would like to ever do would be something to do with Super Smash Bros. since I own hard at it.

And playing a game competitively does not constitute someone as being a 'nerd' in your terms.

OT: I've played Counter-Strike: Source competitively on multiple ladders.

Best we did was second place.
