If I don't have anything going on in the next couple weeks I can make a base for anyone who is really good with graphics to add the images.

Looks really good, especially with the option of the Community being able to pick and choose the design they'd like to see when they log on to the site every day. However, while there may be a few people who are good at GFX, I'm not sure many here are fluent in coding for vB4 and such. I think it would be better if we just had people who can do GFX (examples - Kina, MoonGlare, Lvl 75 Def) and have them do the GFX while people who can code (examples - Blupig, Annex, Govind, maybe Matthew?) work on the code for the new skin. So essentially we have people working together on things.

I just found out two people are already gonna be working together on it, can't wait to see what you guys come out with

 

Excited to see Kinaesthic's work on this hope he makes it awesome..

but in other news, good luck to everyone trying to make the skin, can't wait for all the new awesome changes to the site!

 

If anyone's happy to code it, I'm happy to design it.

 

I can code templates for whoever, just send me a PSD of the website, I will take half credit for every submission I code however. ALSO ANYONE WHO NEEDS HELP GETTING A VB INSTALLATION TO PLAY WITH/TEST CAN TALK TO ME.

 

I'm also willing to help anyone out with coding it, just PM me.

Really hoping we get to keep Classic. I've never liked NextGen.

 

Quick question Richard, may I ask what the problems were with the default skins available when I worked on the Vb4 development site a while back? What about them made them unusable, and how would someone who is re-designing it to fit with the Nexgen concept avoid going down the same road?

Edit: I'm looking at the development site now, and in my honest opinion the S Black skin looks great to me. It also fits well with the idea of Sythe.org pushing forward, though I would change the two bordering columns to an image as it looks like a Barber at the moment. I personally think a slight redesign of the default skin would turn out much better...
