Community Development Team Applications

Why do you want to join the team?:
I feel that I've always wanted to do something for sythe and the community, but I've never really been able to complete it. I tried being a UI ages ago, but never succeeded (they ended it before I finished my app), I'm trying to become an OMM, and I've applied numerous times for OGV. Having a chance to help and share thoughts with the sythe community would be a brilliant opportunity.
Do you consider yourself a creative person?:
Oh yes. When I'm at home, I am really creative. I've done some silly things, but they've always worked. Put tractor exhausts on land rovers, and just done some generally stupid things, but hey, that's life.
What can you bring to the team?:
That little bit of character. I don't mind taking risks, and I like to think I'm a good team worker/leader (Having worked with numerous members of sythe on questing/skilling/names/SSGP/gold/upgrades. A few of them are staff now (-Ryan, Frenzy, Superman, Dave (BSGP) were all non-staff, and Verts was already admin). I'm more than happy to put the hours in where needed.
How often are you on Sythe every week?:
I spend 2-4 hours a day, so approx 14-28 hours a week, mainly towards the 2 monday-thursday, but friday-sunday it's usually 5+ hours.

Why do you want to join the team?:
I would like to join the Community Development Team due to me wanting to be a more noticed person of Sythe and I want to give something back to the community that I spend hour's of my life daily with.

Do you consider yourself a creative person?:
I believe that I am a creative person but creative idea's could be a amazing idea in one's eyes and in another eyes a terrible idea, so really it isn't for me to judge.

What can you bring to the team?:
I can bring to the team new idea's, many hour's of contribution to the community, I also run a free GFX shop for the community of Sythe so I will be able to work on anything that is needed that side also.

How often are you on Sythe every week?:
I have no idea how long I average on Sythe but I do know that I am on here daily, even when I am out I constantly check Sythe on my iPhone for update's & new thread's. Being on here daily I mean a few hour's.

Just that I appreciate that everyone is getting a fair chance to apply for the team so thank you for taking the time to read my application.

 

With X339 under temp ban, will another member of the team be taking over the selection process, or will the team just wait until he returns?

 

The whole team was always going to partake in the selection process. With x339 temporarily banned, I'll just keep tabs on this thread.

 

Why do you want to join the team?: To turn this site around. Right now it's starting to become "neglected" you could say.


Do you consider yourself a creative person?: Well obviously otherwise I wouldn't be applying
What can you bring to the team?: A truthful opinion, without bumming up to mods.


How often are you on Sythe every week?: Everyday, all the time I'm on the computer.. which happens to be all the time

Can I recommend something. Once you have the team set up, maybe you can have competitions within the team, and whoever wins it, will receive something as a reward. Just an idea to help people that are lazy and don't really have any motivations to keep going a few months in. Hope you guys can do something with the site, seems as staff just aren't getting the big picture.

 

Yeah, but do you really want someone doing it just for the reward? it could help someone work harder, but wouldn't you want someone that would work hard in the first place? either way this is not the thread for that :s

Why do you want to join the team?:

I want to be directly involved (again) in the community development cause, I think it's a very good one.

Do you consider yourself a creative person?:

Yes. Non-creative answer, but yes, I consider myself creative.

What can you bring to the team?:

A willingness to listen and give a well-reasoned opinion on others' ideas. Possibly contribute my own ideas but I tend to like other people's ideas for comm dev better than my own.

How often are you on Sythe every week?:

More than I should be.

Sythe is basically a second home to me, I am willing to do anything and everything to help better it.

Do you consider yourself a creative person?:
Definitely.

What can you bring to the team?:
I am very hard working and have a good attitude.

How often are you on Sythe every week?:
5-10 hours a day, every day.

Do you have anything to add?:
I often come up with radical ideas and solutions, I love to experiment and I really hope that through joining and hard work, I can make some new friends and feel good about what I've done.

I want participate more in the community. Right now I see the community is actually dieing.

Everyone is creative. Even JohnK.

I am active when I am not wrongfully temp banned by butt hurt moderators.
