We all know what 'respect' means. Wish everybody would stop kissing up and see that these members were banned for ridiculous reasons, and clearly deserve and un-ban. And if these words get me banned then gf me.

You seem very close-minded.

Some of the people who were banned didn't get banned for their "Lack of respect". Every post I've seen from you favors whatever actions or post that Sythe makes, regardless of it being unjust or not.

This is the spam forum. It's made for people to post openly without the fear of being banned because they're acting like idiots. With it being your site, Sythe, you of course call the shots on what happens - But you could make it a bit more publicized and give us a set of boundaries because quite frankly, I'm not really sure what's allowed anymore.

Testing someone's patience and authority is quite irritating, I'll agree with you, but you're disregarding the rules and foundation that you built this site around. Banning people for being idiots in the spam forum, which has for the longest time been blatantly allowed, is something that someone with dictator values would do.

 

I'm in favor of just nixing the spam forum.

Honestly, Sindre did SO much for this forum/site. He was around everywhere helping people out/verifying guides and alot more. He kept scam reports down i believe and just was an overall great guy. Maybe Just Change his GC or something but really a ban after all hes done? The definition of spam is a disruptive message sent or posted online. Wouldent that be somewhat logically referred to as a troll? Im not exactly sure of this but isent this the SPAM forum? Sindre didnt disrespect he was most likely completly kidding now the others that think they are cool who have done nothing to the site deserve the banhammer but DEFINATELY not him.

Edit: people asking what a troll is such as ^^^ deserve the ban or people posting "umadbro"

It's getting to the point to where "otherwise respectable" members are afraid to act "silly" in fear of getting banned. You have every right to be mad, but why you're taking it out on all of the spam forum members is beyond me. You're daring people to contest you. Of course they're going to. I'm pretty sure that's just being "silly."

Im not quite sure of what to think about it being in the spam forum but from reading all these posts(both from sythe and others) it seems like this came from sythe being fed up with people on the site. Sythe basically said dont post here unless you want a permanent ban and whether people may have thought he was joking or not he will take it as your ignoring/disobeying him resulting in the ban. Its his site, he pays for it(with the help of donations-which helped some sythe member(s) from getting a perm) so he can do what he pleases and if people dont like it then their gone.

I still consider myself new to the site and dont know very much about sythe other than seeing some of the discussions he talks in.

Sorry this part makes me sound like an idiot as I found out from rereading all the posts on multiple threads.

Basically my overall take on this is that you use sythe, sythe's site. Its a privilege to use the site and if you dont respect the owner and what he does you can leave. Correct?

If you can actually give us a reason as too why these people were banned, maybe people will understand your actions.

Sure you run the site and should be treated with respect, but you've to show respect to get it back, not just run the website.

Understandable, but why not make an announcment instead of posting in the Spam Forum, where people will think you're joking.

I don't know you, so I have nothing against you, I'm just giving my opinion based off of my view on things, but since we can't see your "view" of the story, then I guess our opinions don't matter. Oh well.
