I wasnt around when 07 first came back, but im told most stats including combat got to 99 within a few days.

Even botting 24/7, to get to 99 str it'd have to be 200k+/hr exp, where are these ppl training to get to 99 so fast?

There is no 200k an hour combat methods, but i think the closest ewould be to kill armored zombies under the zammy shrine in the wild. Do not quote me on that because I am not entirely sure if they are there.

You CANNOT get to 99 in a few days. I am almost 98 strength, and I have been at bandits for 2 weeks, playing 7 hours or so at least per day, sometimes much more. My clan leader, H o u s a n, is 99 in every combat skill, and he has been playing 14 hours a day since release, and only just got the third combat 99 two days ago.

The absolute fastest expierience IS bandits, and thats where I'm at, and its still only 60-65k xp per/h.

Also, most notably, their are only two people with all combat 99's, and those two are the most no life, double digit hours per day 0 xp wasting scapers.

They dont exist. They were introduced with defender of varrock which was released in 2010. As previously stated, fastest is bandits (60-65k xp per /h), followed up by Ape Atoll Gorillas(55k xp per/h), followed by spirit spiders (45-50k per /h)

You can hit 99 range and defence in about 3 days per skill by chinning at ape toll. And probably get 99 magic by botting superheating which would take a bit longer than 3 days especially at a place like pest control island where there are no randoms. But as for attack and strength I have not heard of any methods.

There are no combat methods better than bandits. I dont think OP was talking about range or mage.

Attack/Str/Defense=Bandits with protect from melee
Range= Using Red chinchompas on the Skeletons at Ape Atoll
Magic= Fire waving metal dragons and high alching at the same time. Sparc Mac has a video on his channel on how to do this.

I was only referring to str/att/def/hp

mage/range are easier to get 99 assuming you have the cash.

At higher lvls i got 70k at ghouls. Never saw or heard anyone getting much higher than that. Which is the reason why im asking how these players got to 99 in str/def/att within the first week of the release. Since even botting 24/7 it doesnt seem possible.

But no one DID get combat 99 in the first few days.....the first combat 99 was on the end of the soxteenth day and he was playing 15 hours a day.

ty, that is much more doable. The ppl giving me info were misinformed then it seems.

Not from 1.

Your friend may be talking about a private server, or he may have meant range/mage starting around 60+ at least.

Is it efficient to chin on longrange if you want def xp too? Or is this a big cash waste?

I've never chinned before...]

Assuming void, how much of a cash pile do I have to bot to get enough to chin def and range to 99 from say 80? 20mil? 30mil? It's the prayer pots that are expensive i'm told...

I find it hard to believe that Ape Atoll Gorilla's are 10K XP/H Slower when you can use a salve ammy with 20% Str/Attack bonuses. Their defence is 6% higher so surely that makes it 14% faster at ape atoll monkeys.

Just using math, correct me if I'm wrong.

Salve doesn't work on gorillas, they need to be undead.

The zombie monkeys/monkey skeletons under the gorilla guards are the best exp in the entire game.

Gorillas in the altar room are 10k xp shorter, they have higher defense and you cant use salve amulet on them, the ones in the tunnels, that your referring to, are skeletal monkeys which yes are slightly better than bandits with your formula and can use salve ammy , but I was talking about the altar gorillas which is 10k slower but you dont have to bring prayer pots cuz of altar, its welfare training.

Also bandits have the advantage of autoattacking you on sight which means no xp wasting while running to your next target, no matter how far it is away.

I hope that clears it up, but I am really baked and I dont know if what I typed was very literate.

You don't have to go into the caves, you can fight them just below the temple - since zombie monkeys count for salve ammy.

Well then even in that scenario bandits still have the edge as it would be a waste of xp having to run to the ladder, and then running to the altar. I dont know if you had this problem doing monkey madness, but gorillas tend to get stuck blocking off the ladder, which would be very cumbersome and annoying.

And the icing on the cake is the AFK-ability of bandits just auto attacking you without end, as the monkeys will eventually become tolerant of your presence.
